Assalamualaikummm…i just had a fantastic short trip to Komodo Island.. and got my skin a lil bit darker, i love it though 🙂
yeaa.. we sailed the big blue Flores sea last week.. and first of all,we departed from Labuan Baju port .. after 4 hours sailing we arrived at Komodo Island. and alongggg the journey to this beautiful island there were only magnificent scenery of blue seas surrounded by hills, SUBHANALLAH ALLAHUAKBAR mantaaappp….
our first destination was Komodo Island. this island is the habitat of the Komodo Dragon *of course :p* there are almost 2.800 Komodo Dragons in the island *said the tour guide*, but you can’t see all of them. you might die if there are 2.800 komodo drsgons near you hahaha because they are Carnivore, and they can run to you with 20 km/hour speed. before you can enter the island you must registering yourself and your friends to the island’s officers so they can serve you with tour guides, cause it’s forbidden to trekking the island without tour guide.
we walked through the island to see the komodo dragon *yaiyalah*, but unfortunately after 1 hour trekking we still couldn’t find them along the walking trails. but you dont have to worry because there are some spots where the komodo dragons possibly stay.
we really had a great time with those animals, having great time? yea of course just taking picture of them from far away,… *what do you think having great time with komodo dragon could possibly means?* hahaha.. but that was an incredible time.. i saw them with my own eyes, they’re big and frightening… and the most reason why this place so special is because you can’t find this rare animals nowhere else.
okeeyy.. our next destination was PINK BEACH! hellyeah.. i was so excited. From komodo island we sailed 30 minutes to Pink Beach. and you know it just worth the sail, oh my God. the sand’s color is truly pink because it contents some minerals with pink color, i dont know what kind of those minerals are. God is great! and its sea water just fuc*in clear i could see everything in it. oh people you should have got yourself floating here once in your lifetime.
after got ourself pinked in the pink beach we heading to Gili Lawa Island, to snorkle… but none of us brought the underwater camera so we didnt have any picture of that great great Gili Lawa’s coral reefs. poor us :(. that was my first time snorkling, and you know i just got myself addicted to it, the private island, clear water, beautiful scenery, and great weather, what can you feel? of course PARADISE.
we spent the night on the boat. the boat is quite good, and after had dinner we slept peacefully with our biggest smile 🙂
the next day, still in Gili Lawa, we planned to looking for the Manta, Manta is a kind of stingray fish, but they aren’t dangerous at all. Manta live near the surface or in the water column of coastal, ocean and lake waters, not on the bottom of the sea or the lake, so it’s not that hard to find them in the Flores sea *for local people of course* hahahhaa.
and our last destination was Bidadari Island (Angel Island),… another breathtaking view… dont know what to write anymore.. just….
last but not least. i am so proud to be Indonesian and live here in this beautiful country.
Kyaaaa…..
I really enjoy in reading this journey… fun, exotic, beautiful, and lovely….
You must be happy there…. Imagine… ^_^
I did… thank you 🙂
